Venture Studio Program Manager, USA

Location United States (East Coast preferred)

L Marks is powering corporate innovation, bridging the gap between startups and corporates. We’re on the hunt for a Program Manager to join the Venture Studio team and assist in the validation and creation of new ventures for some of the biggest corporate clients in the US and UK markets. This role will require hybrid working, some face-to-face client time will be needed.

This is a contract role. Applicants are required to hold the relevant work Visas/Work Permits to work in the USA.

The L Marks Corporate Venture Studio channels our combined experience and skills to bring new businesses to life on behalf of our clients.

You will be:

  • Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients and their internal teams to support successful project delivery;
  • Ensuring that client expectations are managed across the Venture Studio projects;
  • Liaising regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback, provide regular project updates and understand any requirements;
  • Coordinating with the internal L Marks team to ensure deliverables are met on time and to high quality; 
  • Supporting Venture Managers in ideating, validating and launching new ventures for our corporate clients;
  • Supporting the wider Venture Studio team with administrative and internal projects; and assisting in the creation of Venture Studio infrastructure/processes;
  • Ensuring that L Marks high standards of quality are upheld;
  • Monitoring progress of the project and routinely assessing for risks;
  • Providing clear analysis and reporting on project status throughout project delivery;
  • Overseeing and regularly assessing project budgets, ensuring they are running to expectations;
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities with current or prospective clients;
  • Our friendly face and trusted confidant for our corporate clients. You will be a crucial ambassador for L Marks in the US, illustrating our ethos with clients.

You should have:

  • At least 2 years of project management, account management or other relevant experience;
  • Experience working with clients and delivering value to them;
  • Awareness of startup methodologies;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization;
  • Clear understanding and experience of corporate innovation – previous experience in a corporate innovation team is advantageous;
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work efficiently to tight timelines while paying strict attention to detail;
  • Excellent diplomacy, negotiation and client relationship management;
  • Fantastic people skills and strong emotional intelligence;
  • A demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship and early-stage businesses.
