JLAB alumni Qudini acquired by Verint
We are delighted to share the exciting news that our JLAB alumni Qudini has been acquired by Verint® (NASDAQ: VRNT).
Imogen Wethered and her team at Qudini joined our second iteration of our innovation lab with John Lewis in 2015, During the programme, they further developed their customer experience management platform to improve customer experience and retain and drive footfall through queue management, pre-booked appointments and customer communication opportunities., furthermore, during the lab, they launched their first trial within a John Lewis store in Kingston.
Following the programme, L Marks invested in the company to support its continued development and has remained close to the company over the years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was Qudini’s Virtual Queuing System that enabled John Lewis and Waitrose to offer a safe and engaging shopping experience by eliminating physical queues and managing the flow of customers around their large department stores and supermarkets.
Verint’s acquisition of Qudini, will enable the NASDAQ-listed company to be able to deliver additional capabilities to help brands close the Engagement Capacity Gap™ – the chasm between what organizations know they need to do to meet rising customer expectations and the resources they have to do it. The open architecture of the Verint Platform will enable organizations to seamlessly integrate Qudini’s appointment scheduling and management technology to balance resources and investments in their contact centers, branches and stores.
We extend our congratulations to the founders and team at Qudini for achieving this successful milestone. We are proud to have supported Qudini on its journey and excited to see their technology gain worldwide adoption through now being part of Verint.
Further details of the acquisition can be found here in the Verint press release.
