Gymshark Selects Five Companies for the First Gymshark Innovation Lab 

London, UK – 29th May – After an exciting Pitch Day in March, where 14 startups pitched their ideas, five global finalists have been chosen to progress through to Gymshark’s first Innovation Lab.

The programme is about uncovering game-changing solutions that bring real value to Gymshark and its community. This programme invited companies worldwide to apply for the opportunity to present their forward-thinking technologies and solutions in the following areas:

  • The best gym clothing for our people and planet
  • From supply chain to squat rack, faster
  • Heavy lifting and time-saving robotics

The finalist companies that have been selected for the Gymshark Innovation Lab are:

Ameba – Ameba, a startup based in London, has developed an AI-powered layer of intelligence that captures and analyses all of a company’s data to provide real-time visibility and insights across the whole supply chain.

Bold Metrics – Bold Metrics, a California-based company, has created an AI body data platform and digital twin technology that delivers precise sizing recommendations, reduces fit-related returns, and helps brands design better, personalised garments at scale.

Nanoloom – Nanoloom, a London-based startup, produces new fibres from graphene that are sustainable, high-performing, and can replace many traditional synthetic textiles.

Peak – Peak, a Manchester-based company, has created an AI-powered decision intelligence platform that helps retailers improve their inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer engagement.

Tailr – Tailr, a UK-based startup, have developed an AI-driven platform for fashion brands, manufacturers and fabric mills to support seamless collaboration and sustainable production.

Over the course of the 10 weeks, the Innovation Lab process, designed and facilitated by L Marks, gives each company the opportunity to work closely with Gymshark’s senior leadership team to test and trial their solutions in a live environment.
