AEP IlluminationLAB alumni Live EO raises €5.25M

AEP IlluminationLAB alumni Live EO has closed a round of €5.25M which will allow LiveEO to further accelerate the development of their market leading infrastructure monitoring solution as well as their international expansion.

Berlin based Live EO is an Earth Observation (EO) asset monitoring startup that uses satellite technology and AI to frequently monitor large scale infrastructure grids, and provide actionable insights to help save operational expenses.

Whilst taking part in the programme, Live EO looked to provide critical intelligence using satellite data and artificial intelligence to detect where vegetation threats exist on a utilities grid. They focused on comparing the results of satellite data analysis against the results of LIDAR data analysis in order to develop a vegetation management tool that provides field crews a graphical depiction of line threats, how to access, and track work progress.
